Dear 4615 Theatre Family,
We hope you can join us this Saturday, at 8pm for an EXCLUSIVE ONE NIGHT ONLY SHOWING of a re-mastered version of our critically acclaimed, 4.5 star production of Thomas Middleton’s WOMEN BEWARE WOMEN, in a brand new, exciting venue, accompanied by FREE LEMONADE.
“Why Lemonade?” you ask. As you may know, this summer, 4615 has been met with countless hurdles, from our performance space scheduling events during our performances to cast emergencies. All of these hurdles culminated in a few days ago, when we were informed that we would not have our venue for closing night this Saturday, due to a sudden scheduling issue.
Fortunately, our dear friend David Minton at Lumina Studio Theatre has rushed to the rescue, and helped us secure the GORGEOUS SILVER SPRING BLACK BOX, for a thrilling new version of our original production. Even if you have already seen the show, you will not want to miss the chance to witness the theatrical stunt work of our cast and crew, as they mold the show to a brand new venue, right before your eyes!
What has prevailed through all of these challenges is the indomitable spirit of our company members, and the thrilling work they have created. Throughout our trials and tribulations, we have forged new friendships with other organizations, learned thrilling ways to rework shows on the go, and further toughened our belief in fighting to put on the work we believe in.
Therefore, corny as it is, we are celebrating our ability to take lemons and make…well, you get the point. Bet seriously, we are having a lemonade party during intermission. Don’t miss it!
Women Beware Women: 2.0 will perform at The Silver Spring Black Box at 8pm, this Saturday, August 6 th . The address is 8641 Colesville Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20910, and the space is metro accessible.
